The beauty of Vietnamese women in the view of a French photographer
"Vietnamese women collection" of photographs Réhahn will be displayed in Hoi An from 20 July to 20 August.
Having spent most of the past nine years traveling throughout Vietnam, photographer Réhahn has recorded the simple moments in the life of Vietnamese women.
One of his most famous portraits is Bui Thi Xong - a boatman in Hoi An with a smile hidden behind his hand. Réhahn once shared his love of this photo to the point where his character is "the most beautiful lady in the world"
"I am always impressed by the beauty and spirit of Vietnamese women. They always work hard at any place, under any circumstances. I want to honor those precious qualities through photographs of Vietnamese women taken across the country, "Réhahn shared after more than four years living and working in Hoi An.
In collaboration with the Culture and Information Office of Hoi An City, 40 photos of "Vietnamese Women" by photographer Réhahn will be displayed at Nguyen Phuc Chu Street on the occasion of Vu Lan, July 20. to 20/8. On the picture are women in Ba To, Quang Ngai.
40 photos are 40 mothers, sisters living everywhere on the S country. Here, viewers will have a closer view of the simple life of Vietnamese women.
