Planing a trip to Binh Lap

Binh Lap is located in the deep water of Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa in the South Central of Vietnam, so the weather in Binh Lap is quite pleasant. You can go to Binh Lap at any time of the year. Moving to Binh Lap

- Airplanes with Vietjet and Jetstar have many low cost flights (from Hanoi or Saigon)

- Bus from Sai Gon / Hanoi to Cam Ranh such as Phuong Trang, Phan Rang, Hoang Anh.

- You can also take a train from Hanoi to Cam Ranh (about 1.5 days). From Saigon to Cam Ranh, it takes 1 night on board.

- Renting motorbikes for moving around the island: around 5 - 6 USD/day / person. However, in Phan Rang, they often ask a deposit of 50 USD before receiving the motorbike.





Binh Lap does not have many overnight stays. The most luxurious resort Ngoc Suong or also known as Yen Resort with the price of 95 USD / bungalow. Or if you want to save money you can rent a tent for two people at the resort's beach for only 19 USD per night. In Binh Lap there is no homestay service, but if you are stuck in Binh Lap for any reason, you can also ask people to ask for free beds, because the local people are very friendly and easy.

Visiting, exploring and enjoying specialties

Getting to Binh Lap is almost like entering to a completely different world. Although it is a peninsula, it is separated from the outside. In Binh Lap you can explore Binh Chau beach as it is easy to access and has many restaurants. Ngang Beach is located in front of Villa Hoa Vang. Because of the clean and clear water, this beach has a lot of nets for shrimp farming. In addition, you can charter a boat to Con beach and other pristine beaches around Binh Lap.

Besides, you can go to Ngoc Suong Resort to enjoy the fresh air and quiet area. Only with a tour ticket of 2.5 USD / person, you can check out the beautiful photos. This place was in the movie Brilliant Kiss and Girl's trap,so there are many beautiful angles to take photos. Ngoc Suong resort also has a mineral mud bath service which is very good for health with 7 USD / person. If you are still looking for the right stuff, do not miss the small fishing village near Sao Bien eco-tourism. The first feeling when you get here is the cool sea breeze, although it is noon. At end of the fishing village there is a small, unbidden bay, used to anchor for small fishing boats.

Binh Lap has no specialty. Binh Lap has only fresh seafood such as shrimp, squid, fish ... There is a small surprise when exploring Binh Lap sea is the "bio chicken". Clients will be led to see chickens live, choose the one they prefer, then the restaurant will make your dish. A group of 5 to 6 people can take only 1 chicken, then add some local seafood.

Most of restaurants are located in Binh Chau beach and Ngang beach with many rich and various dishes. For an upgrade, you can choose restaurants in the resort to enjoy. However, you should go to the fishing village, there is only one restaurant called Thanh Tra. The restaurant has seasonal seafood dishes and special "bio chicken" with cheap price and the owner is very hospitable.

Unforgettable experience

If you just go to Binh Lap for a swim, you should just come in the day. But if you really want to experience the lives of the people here, then you definitely have at least to stay one night for a closer contact with the local people.
