The citadel of Hue was the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty during the 143 years from 1802 to 1945.











Dai Noi is the largest, the largest scale in the history of modern Vietnam with thousands of turns of people involved in the construction, millions of cubic meters of rock, with a huge work of digging trenches, immigrants, tombs, embankments ... lasted for 30 years under two dynasties.









The Citadel includes the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City. There are 4 gates in 4 sides, of which the main gate in the south is Ngo Mon Gate. Inside the Imperial City there is Thai Hoa Palace, where the tide; area of ​​shrines. The Forbidden City is home to royal and royal activities.








At present, Hue Citadel is one of the monuments belonging to the complex of Hue Ancient Relics which is recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage.













The entrance fee is about 7 USD for foreign guests. It takes about 2 to 4 hours to visit the Imperial Citadel. This place is very large and has a lot of shade so bring your umbrellas and drinking water for a full tour.
