Situated on the banks of the Perfume River, the XQ Embroidery Museum offers visitors a close look at embroidery through the art of installation.




XQ Embroidery Museum is located on the banks of the Perfume River, on Pham Hong Thai Road, operating from April 2017. There are more than 400 works, artifacts, pictures, documents related to embroidery.




The works in the museum are performed by the artists in Hue, arranged so that viewers always have a new feel when entering.



An introduction to the place says: "Embroidery is a woman whose material and spiritual life is governed by the context and geographic composition." Perhaps so many of the exhibits have a theme about Vietnamese women.




A walk into the interior will take visitors to admire the works are arranged in three main themes: "Embroidery Body", "Embroidery Face" and "A voice for embroidery" .




The Museum does not charge fees. Mr. Phuoc Thien (in Hue) said: "Since knowing this place, every time my friends come to Hue, I lead them here to visit. This place has a lot of good information, nice layout and a little mysterious. "




In addition to embroidered paintings, ancient dresses were also displayed. If you are looking for the first time, you will be impressed by the sophisticated patterns.
