The temple has the largest wild monkey in Vietnam
Truc Lam Chân Nguyên (in Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is known as the record holder of the most natural monkeys in Vietnam.
Chan Nguyen temple is located at the foot of Ky Van Mountain, Dat Do District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. Originally, the temple was a small am. In 1987, monk Thich Thong Luan came to repair and practice here.
The monastery is also home to nearly 200 long-tailed macaques, set by the Vietnam Record Organization. "The temple has the most monkey nature." Therefore, the Monkey Forest is often referred to as the Monkey Temple by local people. Everyday, monkeys often go down the mountain to eat and have fun in the compound.
Located in the "waterproof coordinates", the pagoda is impressed by the purity of the meditation space between the mountains. The temple has a simple architecture, worship Buddha Buddha meditation on the lotus.
Built in 9 years ago, the Chanh-Dau building is spacious and has the same architecture as Dalat Truc Lam Monastery.
The bell tower, the drum tower and two large oil lamps are placed on both sides of the temple grounds.
Behind the Main Hall is the huge stone masterpiece given by nature. Each stone weighs tens of tons with strange shapes.
The word Buddha is carved into the largest stone blocks in the temple.
Poems by Zen Master Chan Nguyen engraved on the elephant stone block. Master Chan Nguyen (1647 - 1726) has the legal name is Tue Dang. He was a worthy man who restored Truc Lam Tran dynasty in the North.
On the slopes, many small sims were built, for the monks gathered.
