Visiting San Sa Ho - the "territory" of chayotes


About 12km from Sapa town center, San Sa Ho commune is considered by many as the "land" of chayotes. Along the road to the Silver Falls, there are many "mountains" of the vast chayote plantation.

Chayote is a variety of vegetables grown in many places but there a a lots in Sapa, Lao Cai. The nature is favorable, the climate is cool all year round, so all year round, chayote trees grow well in this area.

Sapa chayote is a fruit and vegetable product and is popular in the near and far. This is also the place to supply large seeds of the North. Therefore, in the journey to Sapa, visitors will enjoy chay as a specialty of this land.
