The pagoda has the typical architecture of the temples of Thailand, India and combined with architecture of the Nguyen pagoda to create unique beauty.

According to the original Theravada Buddhist system, there was only the Buddha statue in the pagoda and has never lighted incense sticks like other pagodas.

The highlight of the pagoda is the Chedi Gotama Cetiya built in 2007, completed after 6 years. Stupa is the place where the relics of the Buddha and the Holy Monks. The tower is over 2,000m2, 70m high, built in the style of Funan culture. Around the small tower, are made of copper, yellow color.

The crystal relics are carefully displayed in glass cabinets. Chedi is only open for two days. Morning from 8h to 10h, afternoon from 14h to 16h.

On the top floor, visitors and Buddhists can easily see the scenery of Saigon and other neighboring provinces.

At the foot of the stupa is a semicircle lake with an area of 280 m2, in the middle of the dragon-shaped fountain.

Next to the lake is a stairway, visitors must slip sandals in the yard if you want to go up the floor. Surrounding the entrance is the dragon mascot pendant with wind cloud. The architecture of the pagoda features Nam Tong Buddhism characteristic in Southeast Asia, with decorative motifs such as winding dragon forming a dome, floating motifs, reliefs, wheels rotating wheel rotation, ...

The pagoda grounds are the largest of the temples in Saigon and are covered with many green trees. Around the courtyard is a very unique jalgon of the ancient Phù Nam architecture.

Due to the top of the tower and the structure of the tower is similar to some pagodas in Thailand, many people are used to calling Buu Long pagoda is Thai temple. The temple is crowded with visitors, most photographed is the weekend.
