Lotus pond in blooming season in Saigon


About 20 km from the center, Tam Da lotus pond attracts many young people to see and take pictures.



Tam Da lotus pond (in district 9, Ho Chi Minh City) belongs to the family of Mr. Ly Mong Thanh for two years. The lotus pond is about 3 hectares, located on the banks of the Tac River, the lower part of the Dong Nai River, about 20 km from the center of Saigon.



"At first, the family mainly flower for sale but after many young people to visit so we leave the lotus pond. About 4 months, I planted new lotus and expanded area, "Thanh said.



In the middle of the lotus pond, the designer of the cottage, the monkey bridge, the plank and the ladder for visitors to easily take pictures. Entry fee for each person is 2.2 USD/person.



From June to September, the lotus season blooms, both the lagoon has a green color with thousands of petals blooming pink.



Other days of the year, lotus still bloomed but not uniform.



"To look beautiful flowers, guests should come early in the morning, this new lotus hatched early frosted early, sunny weather is not easy to take photos. The lotus has a thin wing, so the bloom will soon disappear, "the lotus owner said.



On the occasion of lotus blossom, each day the owner receives about 50 visitors. Over the weekend, the number of visitors increased.



For more beautiful photos, guests can rent shirts, dresses, towels ... at the lagoon for 2 to 4 USD/item.



The bouquet is available for women to positively create a lotus with a price of 0.25 cents/flower
