The Islam mosque at over 80 years old in the center of Saigon
Built in 1935, the Jamia Al-Musulman mosque is where Muslims come to pray in Saigon.
Jamia Al-Musulman Mosque is located at 66 Dong Du Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the most famous islam mosque of Saigon, with an area of about 2,000 m2.
The mosque was built by the Indian diaspora for the spiritual needs of Muslims from South India in Saigon. The cathedral has an architectural style bearing the mark of Islam in South Asia with the crown of lotus buds, the arch of the leaf-shaped head.

Next to the main entrance is a water reservoir for the believer to take water for purification before entering prayer.
Inside the main hall carpet, there are always people to the ceremony.
The electricity is not decorated trims, wall tiles white tiles, there are many doors, the highlight is the multi-colored motifs on the door.
The watches, with the word "Arab" are hung many places. On the timepieces clock the required time of prayer five times a day, especially the large clock in the middle of the hour of additional ceremony.
The Mecca shrine in Saudi Arabia, the spiritual capital of the Islamic world, is solemnly hung in a corner of the corridor.
"Every day I come here to give thanks to God and to read the Koran, if I can not do it, then I will do the ceremony at home, as long as five times a day," said Baracat Lisa.
"I have been with Jamia Al-Musulman since I was little, and the architecture has not changed for years. This mosque is not too large but a very familiar point of praying of the Muslim community in Saigon since the new construction. It is also considered an international mosque when many foreigners come here, "said Adam Sah (80 years old).
