Lao Chai - Ta Van in rice season

Next to Lao Chai is Ta Van village, where the Giay ethnic group, with 40 households living and a few other ethnic groups. Giay has a stable way of living, always choosing lowland areas in the valley near rivers and streams to cultivate wet rice while H'mong people like to grow corn, cassava and upland rice.
