A few notes for the trip

Sapa has an average of 160 days per year. The weather is mainly cloudy and foggy. Therefore, cloudiness can cover up your vision. Rain and fog will also cause many difficulties for the trip. If you do not want the journey to be interrupted, you should find out more about the weather before you leave.

If you want to save money, you should book tickets in advance at Hanoi Railway Station. After reaching Lao Cai Station, there are many bus or bus for you to easily move to the town.
If you do not want to get stuck on difficult or slippery trekking trails, do not forget to bring hiking boots or rubber boots.
