Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) are in the the top 10 tourist cities in Asia

Apart Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, three other Southeast Asian cities, Siem Riep, Bangkok and Singapore, are also among the top 10 tourist destinations in Asia by 2015.

This is the annual "World's Best Awards" by travel magazine Travel + Leisure voted. Travel + Leisure is the largest travel magazine in the world and has a leading reputation in the travel industry."World's Best Awards" are annual awards voted for by airlines, airports, car rental, ideal destinations, yachts, spas, hotels and tour operators. This list was voted by readers of Travel + Leisure on the website tlworldsbest.com from November 2014 to February 2015.

Notably, in the list of top 10 best tourist cities in Asia, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam was honored to participate in the seventh and ninth place respectively.

In the "Asia World's Best Cities" category, readers will evaluate cities by the following six criteria: sightseeing locations; culture and art; restaurants and food, friendly people; shopping and traditional values.

In addition, Travel + Leisure also announced the world's 10 best cities based on readers' votes. Accordingly, there are two cities in Southeast Asia on this list: Siem Riep (third place) and Bangkok (6th place). Kyoto, Japan's capital, remained in the top two years in a row.
