Located on Phia Nham mountain, Dam Thuy commune, with an area of ​​3ha located 500m from Ban Gioc waterfall, this is the first temple on the frontier land in the North of the Country.

The temple started construction on June 15, 2013. After more than a year, on December 15, 2014, it was officially inaugurated and put into use.

The presence of Truc Lam Ban Gioc Buddhist Temple has contributed to improving people's lives. Somewhat makes their lives peaceful, friendly in the border area. At the same time, the temple was built to make Cao Bang tourism more developed.

The unique architecture of Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda



The pagoda was built according to traditional Vietnamese pagoda architecture. Not as tall and magnificent as the neighboring countries. The Truc Lam Ban Gioc Buddhist Temple is built based on the characteristics and closest of Vietnamese people.

The temple is built according to the structure of ironwood, traditional red tile. The sentences in the temple are written in Vietnamese. Especially, the corridors and stairs are made of stone transferred from Ninh Binh.






The pagoda is designed according to the following categories: Tam quan, bell tower, the statue of Quan The Am Bodhisattva, Tam Bao and Toi…. And in particular, the temple also has the temple of hero Nung Tri Cao - who has military and diplomatic skills, and has great merits in preserving and protecting the northern border area. The highlight of the temple is the Great Blue Bell Bell Tower, made of copper, weighing up to 1.5 tons.

Standing from the far side, you will see the temple standing firmly, reaching up in the windy blue sky. Hidden between the high mountains is a temple illuminating the aura, stopping the eyes of tourists.
The road to the temple is peaceful and cool. On both sides of the road are large trees that shade you. In addition, the road to the temple is different horizontal vertical boards, lasting Buddhist flags. You will feel the lightness and calmness.




On the way to Tam Bao, you will encounter a large store. Everyone for this is a dragon mouth sucking a shining jewel facing the Silver Falls direction. Next you will encounter a statue of Quan Am Quan, which is solemnly located in front of Tam Dao house. The statue is a great masterpiece, carefully selected. With meticulous details, exuding all the self-compassion, the inherent joy of the Buddha's Avalokiteshvara.
