Spectacular landscapes of Tam Coc and Bich Dong in Ninh Binh


Tam Coc - Bich Dong, also known by famous names such as "Ha Long Bay on land" or "Nam Thien Le Nhi Dong" is a national key tourist area in Vietnam. The whole area includes the system of limestone caves and historic relics related to the Tran dynasty located mainly in Ninh Hai, Hoa Lu and Ninh Binh communes. Currently, Tam Coc scenic spot is ranked as a special national monument by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

Tourists from all over had knew Ninh Binh with the beauty of Bai Dinh and Trang An pagodas, but once coming to Tam Coc-Bich Dong, it will quiver with the mysterious and mysterious beauty of this place. Because of that, Tam Coc-Bich Dong is considered the second most beautiful Vietnamese cave.

There are two famous landmarks: Tam Coc Cave and Bich Dong Pagoda. The reason is called Tam Coc cave because it is made up of three caves: Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave. All three caves are made up of the Ngo Dong river, which curves to create mysterious points in the cave.

The cave is 127m long, passing through a big mountain, crossing the Ngo Dong line. The store is about 20m wide, when the boat gets into the cave, we will feel cool. When the boat is out of the cave, looking back at the cliff, you can imagine a silver-haired bearded old man sitting fishing, according to that folk is a fishing fairy, higher you can see a fairy girl. ... far away on the mountainside, the shadow of the woodcutter's men is cutting firewood. And halfway up the mountain, every herd of goats eat the leaves, on the cliffs, the orchids with the colorful bunches are blooming with the sky.

King Tran Thai Tong built a small temple on the high ground near Ca cave as a place of spiritual practice. This place still has a land area, more than 1 meter higher than the field that can not be flooded, called Garden Am. The whole cave in Tam Coc is beautiful but hidden.

Hang Hai is nearly 1km away from Ca cave, 60m long, the ceiling of the cave has many stalactites with fantasy shapes, from the ceiling hangs hanging like iridescent pearls. Ba cave is close to cave Hai, 50m long, ceilinged like a stone arch. Compared to Ca cave and Hang Hai, this is the coolest cave because it is the lowest, the ceiling of the cave has few stalactites, mainly artificial stone arches. The boat comes out of the cave, you can zoom out and look around, a mountain landscape that looks like a whole land.

But Bich Dong means "green cave", the name is given by the prime minister Nguyen Nghiem, the father of the great poet Nguyen Du, in 1773.
