Domaine De Marie Church - An European style church in Dalat
This is a famous tourist destination more unique than any church in Da Lat because it was built with a binder that is molasses, lime-stone wall-to-wall level.
The church built on the hill planted beautiful cherry blossoms, designed in the architectural style in the seventeenth century mixed with some Vietnamese architectural features to create a unique artistic architecture.
Overview of Domaine De Marie church includes a chapel and 2 rows of monasteries. The roof system of the church is like a communal house of ethnic minorities, the roof has a steep slope and roofs of red tiles, the whole church is painted with dark pink color.
As soon as I entered the church, the most impressive thing was the statue of Our Lady standing on the globe, the model of a Vietnamese woman 3 meters tall and weighing 1 ton.
Behind the church is the tomb of Mrs. Decoux, she had an accident on Prenn Pass when she went from Saigon to Dalat and she died later, according to her wish to be buried in this church.

Around the campus, there are many kinds of flowers such as Tu Cau, Quyet Cannon, Wolf Mu ... especially Hai Tien flowers, every spring, flowers blooming to make the church landscape become romantic.
Behind the church is an architectural complex designed in a modern style with 3 rows of 3-storey houses of the Order of the Sisters of Bac Ai, yellow walls of red tile roofs. It is this that adds to the majesty and appeal to the architectural community.
The difference from other churches in Dalat is that there is no bell tower and the uniqueness of the church is the window protruding from the roof, with glass panels illuminating the space of the cathedral adding shimmer.
