The beauty of three most beautiful caves in the Northern Vietnam.

Honored as the 3 most beautiful caves in the South, Huong Tich, Bich Dong and Dich Long are also impressed with the tourists thanks to the ancient beauty and tranquility of the temples located inside and outside the cave.

Because located in the middle, near the entrance and quite large, so when viewed from the cave entrance, this stalactite is like a tongue in the dragon's mouth, creating excitement for visitors. The cave also has "the way to heaven" and "the entrance to the underworld". The road to heaven is a steeper rock slope, the lower the entrance to the underworld is a slit that leads to the cave deep underground.

At this point, you will feel the cool moisture, thanks to the tiny drops of water and day and night flowing from stalactites like the flow of breast milk. In addition, the poetic scenery of the Yen stream leads into the Dam wharf, making tourists joyful when they come to the most beautiful cave in the South.

2. BICH DONG – SECOND MOST BEAUTIFUL CAVE

Located in the tourist complex of Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, Bich Dong is not only a scenic spot associated with Tam Coc but also known as the "second heavenly beautiful cave". Bich Dong, meaning "green cave", was named in 1773 by Nguyen Nghiem, the father of the great poet Nguyen Du.

In the lotus season, Bich Dong smells of lotus when on the other side of the river is a golden paddy field, creating a poetic landscape like painting. Along the length of Bich Dong is Xuyen Thuy, it is created like a big stone into a arch arch.

The waterway entrance is behind the mountain, opposite the road to Bich Dong. At the end of the waterway journey, visitors can climb mountains to reach Bich Dong cave. The attraction of Bich Dong is the harmonious combination of mountains, mountains and pagodas.

Ha pagoda was built right at the foot of Bich Dong mountain, with architectural style of Dinh, two-storey roof, bent, and solid stone columns. After about 80 stone steps around the mountainside, visitors will come to Trung pagoda located on the middle of the mountain, with semi-roof architecture outside. Located on the highest peak is Thuong thu pagoda Buddha Quan Quan Buddha. From here, visitors can admire the panorama around Bich Dong hidden among the immense green trees, shaking in the wind.

3. DICH LONG – THIRD MOST BEAUTIFUL CAVE

Although less known than Huong Tich and Bich Dong, the beauty of Dich Long, located between the boundaries of Ha Nam and Ninh Binh provinces is not inferior. After walking through 105 stone steps from Ha pagoda, visitors will come to the cave to write 6 words: "Nham Son Dong, Co Am Tu". The two sides of the cave gate have two Dharma protectors and at the 8 m high dome hangs a bell weighing nearly one ton which has been cast since the Nguyen Dynasty.

Inside the cave is also built the place to worship - Photo: collectibles

The cave consists of three interconnecting caves. While the cave is outside worshiping Buddha, Dark cave and Light cave are like an art space, gathering great works of sculpting of stone stalactites. Not only glittering like a rainbow, the stalactites here also change color according to the sunlight, and when you take the knocking stone, you will hear the sound like a bell.

Because there is an open space in the upper position, the door of the cave is narrowed, so whenever a strong wind blows into the cave, visitors will hear a sound like a flute. Perhaps because of that, the name called Dich Long with the meaning of "Dich" is a flute, "Long" is the wind.
