Situated between Hoi An old town and An Bang beach, Tra Que is famous for providing fresh and clean vegetables. Here visitors can see the process of vegetable cultivation of the people.




Located 3 km from Hoi An city center, Tra Que is known for providing the freshest and cleanest vegetables for the people of Hoi An. Formed 300 years ago and located next to the De Vong River, the first inhabitants of the village to earn their living by fishing. Sometimes we also guide visitors to grow vegetables.

Photographer Réhahn said the best time to take pictures of the scenery at Tra Que is 5-7h30 and 15h30-18h. He said that a trip to Hoi An will not be selected without visiting Que Tra. The vegetable village is also a favorite destination for this French photographer.


Each year, on January 7, Tra Que villagers hold a Cau Bong festival, praying for good weather and harvesting success. Réhahn also said that visitors will feel regret coming here without admiring the life of people, as well as special local customs. A visit to Tra Que Village will be of great significance and unique, especially for photographers like him.

"So, I want to collect materials and create a Wikipedia about Vietnam on my own website, so people know more about Vietnam." According to the plan, this man will come to HCMC to hold an exhibition and book signing in June. Profits will go to the Christina Noble Foundation to help poor children. In addition, he will also take photographs of the scenes and people of Vietnam attending a major exhibition in France in September. The event attracts about 200,000 people each year.
