The road leading to the bishopric of Kon Tum - one of the typical buildings in this highland city. The bishop's house was built in 1936, with Western architecture combined with the local culture of the Central Highlands.
Prior to 1975, this work included the Kon Tum missionary seminary, where the diocesan priests were trained. Not only is it a religious site, the Kon Tum bishopric is now an indispensable destination for tourists with its unique green space and architecture.
The statue of Mary is one of the highlights in the episcopal court when it combines the images of women in the Central Highlands with their hips on their backs and their children in their hands. This is the best evidence for the harmony of religion in the highlands.
Within the bishop's house is the wooden church - the most beautiful church in Kon Tum and the Central Highlands. Over the course of more than a century, the building stood as a religious symbol for Kon Tum. Not only attractive, many couples also come here for impressive wedding photos.
The wooden church is a combination of Roman architecture and traditional style building, characterized by the long houses of the Bana. The most unique feature is that most of the buildings are built of wood, creating a sense of closeness and bearing the Highlands.
Leaving the wooden church, visitors run to the area of the Dak bok river to admire the beauty of the Kon K'lor Rong - considered as the largest cultural Rong Tay Nguyen. However, the Rong house was burnt so the work was restored with modifications compared to the old one.
Across the Dak Bla River is the Kon K'lor suspension bridge, the largest suspension bridge in Kon Tum province. Suspended suspension bridge for trade, travel of ethnic people in the city area. In the dry season, you can go down the river and watch Kon K'lor suspension bridge from below.

Situated near the Kon Tum Museum is the Kon Tum prison, which held many patriotic soldiers during the resistance war against the French. In the prison compound there are two mass graves next to the Dak Blar River.
Before the end of the journey, do not forget to visit Indochina Café on the embankment, overlooking the Dak Blak river. This impressive building was built of bamboo and supported by 15 giant bamboo sticks. The work was nominated for the "Building of the Year" category in the American Archdaily magazine.
