Visit the 200 years old house in Loc Yen Lane


In the west of Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province), the ancient village of Loc Yen is still nestled on the back of the mountain.






Among old houses in Loc Yen village, Nguyen Dinh Hoan's 200-year-old house is the oldest.

Located on the winding streets of Tien Canh commune, Tien Phuoc district, ancient houses were built more than hundred years ago. The road to Loc Yen village is with many green trees, the entrance to each house is covered with stone to form a path. The nostalgic person can find some peace for his soul here.




Loc Yen Village is famous for its mossy alleyways, carefully selected tea rows and the story of centuries-old houses. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoan (in Tien Canh commune) is known for his 200-year-old house, passed down from his father.





Inside the house are old items, from tables, chairs, antiques, cabinets to the door, pillars. The old house is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, which sheltered the storms of the previous generation and was guarded by the next generation.



The stones are finely crafted to bring alive today. Over hundreds of years, the alley stone, the ancient village of Loc Yen still intact special value. The ancient village still rests on the mountain back, reminding the villagers of the responsibility to preserve and handed down to the children of his father's treasure.
